Davi is an in-scope supervisor in Aquatics, Sport and Wellness leading a team of four continuing full-time staff and 25-30 casual staff. He first joined MacEwan as an International Student in 2003. Shortly after that, he completed his lifeguard training and began working in Sport and Wellness. Davi left Alberta for a few years to work as Aquatics Coordinator at Delhousie University, but returned in 2013 and now proudly considers MacEwan his “second home”. Passionate about water safety and lifesaving, he also serves as President on the board of directors of the Royal Life Saving Society, Alberta and NWT, and previously for the Nova Scotia branch of the same organization. A lifelong learner, Davi is also a current MacEwan student, taking courses within the School of Business and expanding his knowledge and interest in Human Resources.
Davi joined the MSA board as member representative in September 2019. He looks forward to using his experience and leadership to support MSA in advocating for its members in the ever-changing and vibrant work community at MacEwan University.
