Davi is an in-scope supervisor in Aquatics, Sport and Wellness leading a team of 4 continuing full-time staff and 25-30 casual staff. He first joined MacEwan as an International Student in 2003. Shortly after that, he completed his lifeguard training and began working in Sport and Wellness. Despite moving out of province for a few years, he proudly considers MacEwan his “second home”.
Davi has also previously worked as the Aquatics Coordinator at Dalhousie University for a few years prior to returning to MacEwan in 2013. His role as Aquatics Supervisor is his third job within MacEwan. Passionate about water safety and lifesaving, he also serves as President on the board of directors of the Royal Life Saving Society, Alberta and NWT, and previously for the Nova Scotia branch of the same organization. A lifelong learner, Davi is also a current MacEwan student, taking courses from the School of Business and expanding his knowledge and interest in Human Resources.
Davi looks forward to using his experience and leadership to support MSA in advocating for its members in the ever-changing and vibrant work community at MacEwan University.
