Juliana Kaneda is a mixed, queer, nonbinary person who lives in Amiskwacîwâskahikan. They graduated from MacEwan University with an honours degree in Psychology & Gender Studies. In both personal and professional fields, they work to integrate knowledge from these disciplines to create affirmative and community-driven spaces of care for queer/trans people of colour. As an Exam Technician at MacEwan University, they are passionate about supporting inclusive exam spaces, and the implementation of universal design at MacEwan.
As a person who is committed to accessibility, equity, and inclusion, being part of the MSA appeals to Juliana’s desire to uphold and support worker’s rights. Juliana is happy to share their community knowledge in any way they can.
