New Collective Agreement: Implementation Plan

The collective agreement for July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2019 has been ratified by both MSA and University’s Board of Governors. There have been numerous changes from our previous collective agreement which will take time to implement. MSA is currently working with Human Resources on an implementation plan for these changes. MSA will be updating our members as to when the improvements and changes will be implemented.

Salary Implementation
One of the most important changes for all staff is the implementation of the new salary grid. The University has advised MSA that the target date for implementation of the salary changes is October 2017. Upon the implementation of the new salary grid, MSA staff will also receive any retroactive pay owed from July 1, 2017.
