I have been with MacEwan since December 2019, where I started as a student casual for the Residence department. I am still with the Residence team and have held a full-time administrative support position since November 2022. I volunteer as a member of the MacEwan Campus Services Culture Action Team, where we coordinate community activities and work to foster a welcoming culture across the Campus Services departments. I am a graduate of the Business Administration – Human Resource Management program at NAIT and am in the final year of my BBA with a concentration in HRM. Throughout my studies, I have constantly been driven and motivated by my passion for the field of Labour Relations. I feel that both my developing skills and experiences as a part of the MacEwan community will prove beneficial in representing our membership.
As a worker, standing for our collective goals, rights, and freedoms is extremely important, and I care deeply about our Association. I believe in facing adversity through empowerment, optimism, and indomitability. If our membership chooses me as a representative on the Board, I promise to uphold the values of community, accessibility, diversity, inclusion, and equity for all our members. I strive to build relationships of trust and confidence in which all questions, concerns, and conversations are met with care and enthusiasm. I am eager to get to work on helping further develop our strategic direction and serving our Association for the greater benefit of all our members. At home, I am a proud Edmontonian who you can often find walking the trails of our beautiful river valley or birdwatching with my wife.
